Oh COVID... You have been quite the experience!

As everyone across the globe has felt first-hand, COVID has taken an impact on our lives and has changed it substantially. Personally, I moved from living in San Diego, CA for 15 years to moving back to my home town in Vermont two week before COVID hit. It was quite a shock, as it was to everyone, but moving to an area, thinking about all the new possibilities and then being in isolation two week later was to say the least... a little disheartening. Thankfully, I had some old friends who took me in and let me shelter in place until I felt it was OK rent an apartment and start the new life that I had dreamed about for the last five years. A year later I have finally come into my own. Maybe not quite as how I expected, but I'm happy non-the-less. I found many people I have connected with that really wanted to jump start their creative careers. They were reaching out to kick-start their dreams. I was super excited to be a part of this revitalization of Vermont and continued creative outlet in San Diego, CA. The human creative spirit can so often be lost in the digital age but the space and quiet that COVID forced on us resulted in unexpected results. So as many people will say, COVID was a curse and a blessing in disguise. We learned how to navigate our own families, working from home, digital constructs and creative outlets that may have never come about unless forced upon us.

I want to thank everyone who helped me through this crazy time in humanity and I want to congratulate everyone who found their love of the creative, nature and family during this time.  We are strong and resilient. We are creative and beautiful beings and we have found a social unity in solitary. I feel a bond with my fellow human beings that I have never felt before and I feel even more than before, that if I can help foster that creative energy it will help everyone in the long run.

Thank you. To my readers, clients and fellow creatives. You are wonderful, creative beings and ultimately we are all in this together. If I can help you in any way, please reach out. I feel like a hippie saying this, but from the depths of my core I believe we area all connected in mind, body and spirit. Please be kind to each other and love each other. Thank you for being you.
